Last Full Day

Today we started in the Alps and then we drove to ljubljana then we went to the market in ljubljana and got raspberries and peaches and then we got Ben a jersey and then we got more raspberries. Then we started walking around the stores and there was a dog shop and there was this water bowl for dogs with a dog inside and he was very cute. And then we went to our hotel and we watched some tv and mommy packed for tomorrow. Then we went downstairs and played cards and then for dinner which was delicious. We had pasta, pizza and fish.

Gorgeous Gorges

Today we went to see many gorges. We also went to a hike it was a mountain goat style which I like. On the hike we saw a waterfall or 2 or 3 and we went over bridges and some unstable ones that I liked. And then we went through this tunnel where there was no light and there were steps but you couldn't see them and it was a lot of fun. When you always go somewhere you have to come back so we had to go back on the trail which wasn't the best but it was ok. We drove over a pass with 50 switchbacks and I did not notice all the views as I was either too busy with the iPad or too busy sleeping in moms lap or too busy not vomiting. And then we went to get ice cream and while we were eating our ice creams we heard the church bells ring 200 times. Today was the first day in 2 weeks that we did not go for a swim, but we did sorta swim when we were eating lunch we put our feet in the water (the temp was the same as yesterday).

Never feels like home

Sorry I have not blogged for a while. We did not have Internet connection. Yesterday we took the longest ride possible and it was sorta fun as we stopped on the way at this town and we walked around the lake. The town was called Bled in Slovenia. And then we came to the Alps and we stayed in the room while my parents went to get information and find a place for dinner. And then we went for dinner at this pizza place and it was a good restaurant with good pizza.

Today we went hiking in the Alps. We went to this one place where you walk to this waterfall - the walk was not very interesting but the waterfall was very interesting. The second hike was more fun than the waterfall and we saw a gorge and a very cool valley. It was more nature and not steps (more mountain-goatie) so I enjoyed it a lot more. And then we went Swimming. Ben and daddy dived off the high dive diving board into the river. I was standing on the steps on the way down watching the two nut balls jumping off the jumping board and when everyone was out I got in and dunked. The water was "100 degrees below zero".

Wander

Today we fed the donkeys at the barn and there were also sheep. The sheep did not get fed because the donkeys were too greedy if you tried to feed the sheep the donkeys would kick you. Then we went back and someone picked an apple of a tree and we got to eat the apple off the tree and it was so cool. After that we went to the town and the houses were at the ocean, when you opened the door you were at the ocean and it was so cool. And we got a bag and a lavender pouch and then we went back to the car and watched a movie in the car while we went to the beach. The beach was wavy and so cool. You had to go under the waves when you did not want to. And then home to dinner and then to bed.

Mix and Match

Sorry I did not blog yesterday. We were too busy. Yesterday we were In Diocletians palace in Split and me, my brother and my dad climbed up the Bell tower in the cathedral and we could see all of Split. We Went back to our room and tried to sleep but that did not work out too well. Then we went to get French fries and play hearts.

Today we sat in the car for like three hours. We went swimming three times; one in the old city, one at the park and one the bottom of a waterfall (Krka). We were walking to the waterfall where we went swimming and my brother thought that we could swim under the huge waterfall but we couldn't as there was this string that blocked us and Ben was very disappointed and then we went swimming under little waterfalls.

And now we are going to sleep...

Yesterday continued...

We arrived in Mostar in Bosnia and first we went swimming in the river. Above the river is a famous bridge. We saw people jumping off a platform into the river. The water was freezing and a strong current. After that we went to dinner. At dinner we played hearts and I won the game. After dinner we walked over the bridge and today we saw people jumping off the same bridge.

Very Long Car Ride

We left Kotor and we went up a hill/mountain that had 25 switchhbacks, not the greatest idea.  Be was about to puke.   He got his first ride in the front seat which was very unfair.   And then we went to Ostreg monastery.  Which was on a very precarious route up the mountain.  On the way up, we had a little bit of road interference. . .  We ran into a bus.  We had to back up 10 - 20 meters.  The monastery was cool and built into the wall.  

Then we drove into Bosnia.  Me and ben watched 10 movies on the iPad.  

Now I'm falling asleep in my pasta Aka "doing an Emmett" so we will have to continue tomorrow...

New

Today we took a 2 hour drive to Montenegro and we stopped at a little town at the half way mark. We went swimming at the town in the rain which made no sense but we did it anyway. Ben found a clam kind thing. Then we climbed the church steeple and it was 182 steps and my dad hit his head on the bell at the top. Then we went to Kotor where we went to the beach and me and my brother found a lot of shells. Ben looked in the water and I looked on the shore. Ben found most of the big shells and I found all of the small interesting shells. We are staying in Kotor tonight and we went to the square and we had pizza and watched a acting school do a play. Good night.

Stretched

Today we walked to the port in Graz and then we walked to catch a ferry and we thought it was a party boat that we were going to go on (like a cruise boat). Daddy was really happy with the boat but apparently that wasn't the boat we were going on and it turned out to be a small boat. And then we road on the boat for one hour and then we got to the island called Lopud and we went to one beach and we went snorkeling and we found 3 sea urchins. I tried snorkeling at that beach and it wasn't working out too well as there were rocks and that stuff. We kept walking and went to another beach and we tried snorkelling and that time it worked a lot. Then Ben got out and he was sitting on the ledge and I was snorkeling toward him and I would try pull I'm in from his legs but it did not work out too well. Then we went on the ship again and there was this group of men and they were playing songs and we were annoying my parents. There was a bottom deck were the cars were and a top deck where the people were and the bottom deck was longer than the top deck. So they dropped our hats on the bottom deck so we would have to get them.

Tired

Today we walked the walls of the old city in Dubrovnik. It was really cool because we could see where the bombs fell and there was this one house that had everything except for it's roof. Then we went to the main promenade and we listened to musicians. And then we went to get bread and cheese and we went to the ocean and ate there and went swimming. And the shower was freezing. I took a siesta in the afternoon, which is a nap. After we went to the jewish museum and war museum. Me and my dad did people watching while eating popcorn and then we had pizza for dinner. Then we went swimming in the ocean outside the old city and there was this platform that we jumped off of, but the water was very salty. Ten ice-cream and more music watching and we saw someone playing bottles. And now we are going to bed...

We are here

We are here. We made it to debrovnik but I'm exhausted. Ive been up since 12:30 last night.I can't even think about what to write.

Leaving Israel

Leaving is not easy.  I had so much fun in Israel and I really want to do more.  We played with our cousins.  We taught Ori to play hearts.  He cheated.  And he cheated in war and in Taki.  Taki is like UNO.  We have to get up at 1 in the morning.  We have to return our car and check in.  It will be a hectic day . . BUT I am excited to see my dad and go to Croatia!!!

Hearts

Today was a laid back day.  First we watched movies while mommy did errands.  Then we went for hamburgers.  Then we went to the swimming pool for four hours.  Then mommy taught us how to play hearts.  It is FUN.  Very confusing.  I think I am sleeping with my eyes open.  Good night. 

Exciting

Sorry I haven't written for so long because I didn't have a computer so I couldn't write.  We went to the pool everyday and we got snacks everyday (we got a snack pass) and we went to this place called Dannyland.  It was games, Wii, computers, fozzball.  It was heaven for Ben. 

On Wednesday, we got Jerusalem and then we went swimming and had dinner in the hotel which was really really good and the beef (kosher) tasted like short ribs - but not as good as my dad's. 

On Thursday, we went to the Israel museum.  I liked the youth part the best.  They had this truck, with all of the parts of the truck, but without the truck.  And then we went back to the hotel and met my cousins and we all went swimming. 

On Friday, we went to the City of David.  We went in these water tunnels.  The water was freezing.  It was so dark, if you didn't have a light, too bad for you - it was so dark.  So Ben and I used our camping headlamps.  Our cousins used key chain light.  They think they found part of King David's castle.  Miri told us the story of David.  Ben was King David and I was Bat Sheva, the wife that he stole.  Then we went swimming, of course.  We walked to Ammunition Hill.  On the way back we were only allowed to whine after the green gate.  Because we had to walk all the way up the hill to the car. 

On Saturday, we walked to the Old City.  It was too long and too hot.   We went to the shook and I got a necklace.  Ben got a jersey.  Who cares.  Then we went swimming.  For dinner, we went to Speghetti.  After dinner, while the adults were talking, we played tag and Nadav won. 

Today, we went to the Dome of the Rock.  But we didn't get to go in.  That was the disappointing part.   The top was made out of gold.  And then we visited Grandma Ruthie and then we visited Sheri and then we drove back to Pa Jay and Elaine's house.  Then swimming.  Then dinner.  Now this.  Now bed.

This morning I did not not want to go to camp, and at camp, I made a mobile, and I also made beads. I put beads on my mobile.Today, I am going to Jerusalem. We are going to go to the shuk period.

Quiet

My brother had a playdate and it was very quiet in the house.  We also watched a chick flick, Romona and Beezus.  And I liked it a lot.  Then me, Elaine (my step-grandma) and my mom went to lunch.  Then we went swimming with Ben.  Tonight was a Taki night.  And we had pizza for dinner.  Tomorrow is camp.  And at Taki, Pa Jay is winning or I am.  Good night.

Lost

Today I lost a tooth!!! I lost my tooth in the car, and it was hanging by a thread and then I started wiggleling it with my tounge, and then, it just fell out!!! It was the tooth on the right side of my big teeth in the middle of my mouth.And, me and our frinends went to the swimming pool and then had dinner. Then we went to the artist colony, where my mom got a painting of a tree.

A Trip

I almost want to come home just to see grandpa michael in a tutu- if he can put it on. 

On Thursday we visited Debronik Farm and we saw a well of water with baskets that were made out of metal and they were chained together and used a gear to make it move.  They actually used the water on the farm to make a stream. 

Then we went to HaHula Reserve.  We saw beavers and we also saw seven turtles.  One of the beavers was going into his habitat. 

Then we went to Tal Dan and we saw two crabs.  It gave me the heebie geebies. 

Then we went to Banias.  We saw a water fall.  I liked it a lot. 

Then on Friday we did a water hike which was called Senir Stream.  And we did the hike four times.  How we did it four times is that we did half way and then went back and then we did the full thing and then we went back again. 

Then we went to Misgav Am. And we waited an hour because we were earlier than the tour.  And we saw Lebanon's bunkers.  Some of them.  At Misgav Am, it is the only place in all of Israel that gets snow.  And the kibbutz shares with the Israeli army. 

water

Shari, my cousin, and my brother and Marla, and mommy and me went to Tiberias to go a water park.  There was too much chlorine in the pool.  So we went into the Kinneret and I found a rock with fossils.  We had a lot of fun.
Me and my brother also went on lots of different slides.  The white slide was the hardest and it was straight down and I flew off the slide and bumped my butt and it hurt.  But it was fun. 

Yesterday, at camp we went hiking and we saw a crab in the water - it was a baby crab.  And the walk was hard but really fun.  When I was trying to cross the river, I nearly fell off into the river.   I sat with a girl from another group who was a blabbermouth.  She talked the whole way in hebrew.  I didn't understand one word.  I just nodded my head. 

Gotta Go To The Bathroom

We were supposed to play capture the flag where we would have to capture a water bottle (2lts) and then we to had to get it back to our side.  And then we had to drink the whole bottle to win.  But my team didn't play it that way.  Instead we drank all of the water before the games started.   To get to the field, we had to climb down into the valley and then we played 2 hours of capture the flag.  Then we had to climb up the mountain back to the camp.  Ohvey, that was hard. 

Lunch is a hot dog bun spread with chocolate!!  That should be desert. 

I am getting much better at hebrew.  And it is really fun.  Me and my mom went swimming and i was balancing on her legs and she let go and made me fall.  In the locker room, there was a HUGE HUGE bug.  My mom thinks it is a preying mantis.  Or a really BIG grasshopper.  It made a funny noise.  I thought it was music. 

Camp is here!!!

Today, I started camp. It was difficult, but fun. Everybody in my group spoke hebrew, and I don't even know anybody's name. See'ya next time!!!

We are up north at my granda's and grandpa's house. We are going to camp and my brother is coming with me and I am very excited

We got there!

It was a very stressful trip.  But we made it.  First we went to Frankfurt and then to Tel Aviv.  Now, we are in Ramot HaSharon with our cousins.  At dinner, the boys were showing each other gags and the boys chased me and Yael.  I am sleeping in Yael's room. 

Chaos in the House

Today we are going to Israel.  It will be a lot of fun.  I can't hardly wait.

My mom really wants to get it over with.

Packing isn't fun.  We ran all over the house because we kept forgetting stuff.

And my dog Sally helped us pack.  She kept putting her bones in our suitcases.  Hopefully we found them all.  Otherwise they are going to Israel too.
