Sorry I did not blog yesterday. We were too busy. Yesterday we were In Diocletians palace in Split and me, my brother and my dad climbed up the Bell tower in the cathedral and we could see all of Split. We Went back to our room and tried to sleep but that did not work out too well. Then we went to get French fries and play hearts.
Today we sat in the car for like three hours. We went swimming three times; one in the old city, one at the park and one the bottom of a waterfall (Krka). We were walking to the waterfall where we went swimming and my brother thought that we could swim under the huge waterfall but we couldn't as there was this string that blocked us and Ben was very disappointed and then we went swimming under little waterfalls.
And now we are going to sleep...
That is a lot of swimming!!! Why didn't your mom climb to the top of the bell tower?? How did your legs feel once you got to the top? Like Jelly?? Your vacation sounds amazing, keep the blog posts comming!! We all miss you here and can't wait to see you next week. Lots of love,

A palace!!!???? Was it beautiful? I hear Split is a very special city? Is it one of your favorites so far? What fabulous experiences you are having: swimming three times in one day, each time surrounded by history and beauty. I love the way to tell us everything you do each day. It almost feels as if we are there with you... ALMOST! So I didn't hear about any ice cream today!! Have you and Mom been able to find any chocolate croissants? Just checking.. Need to make certain your vacation is PERFECT. We are counting the days until we see you again. We LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU!!!
ReplyDeletesound like you are having a great time. We miss you all and are looking forward to this weekend when you will all be back safely home again.
ReplyDeleteLove granny and papa.
It seems like forever since I wrote you. Actually, I think my last comment was about you watching the people jumping off a bridge.
ReplyDeleteIf you stop and think for a minute (notice I'm not asking your brother to try this) can you re-member what you had to eat in each place you visited? It shouldn't be too hard because you usually have the same kind of ice cream, pizza and pasta. Now, if you tried something different for each meal, think how confusing it would get. Bogislaw Stanislovsky never had this problem because all they had to eat was mutton and gruel. No wonder they were always going to war.
You and your brother have become international heart players. I can't wait until we can play all together! What a great trip you are having. I have lotion for your pruney skin. Can't wait to see you!! :)
