Today we went to see many gorges. We also went to a hike it was a mountain goat style which I like. On the hike we saw a waterfall or 2 or 3 and we went over bridges and some unstable ones that I liked. And then we went through this tunnel where there was no light and there were steps but you couldn't see them and it was a lot of fun. When you always go somewhere you have to come back so we had to go back on the trail which wasn't the best but it was ok. We drove over a pass with 50 switchbacks and I did not notice all the views as I was either too busy with the iPad or too busy sleeping in moms lap or too busy not vomiting. And then we went to get ice cream and while we were eating our ice creams we heard the church bells ring 200 times. Today was the first day in 2 weeks that we did not go for a swim, but we did sorta swim when we were eating lunch we put our feet in the water (the temp was the same as yesterday).
Good night.
I love those beautiful waterfalls, but unstable bridges make me (Granny) rather nervous!! Papa loves them! After all that you have experienced you can now go back to South Africa to climb the mountains there!! Counting the days until we see you again XXXXXXXXXXXXX
ReplyDeleteHello, my little mountain goat. I love the way you want to experience everything: the bridges, the tunnels, the trails. You are not afraid of anything. You have so much courage and spunk and spirit. It's so wonderful. I hope every day of your life brings you new adventures.... They won't always be as interesting and exciting as what these last several weeks have brought you. But there's always something new to learn and gexperience each and every day. I'm so happy you've had such a wonderful time, but we are all anxious to have you back home. We love you and miss you. xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteAs this may be the last time i will be able to communicate with you by Comment, I want to say something particularly memorable . . .
ReplyDeleteDa li imate jelen srna? Da, dva krupna sačma!
Vladimar is pretty sure this means "does the deer have any doe?" Yes, two bucks.
You have to be Slovenian to appreciate this.
Also . . .
Ne želim biti mrtav jer nema budućnost u njoj!
Vladimar is absolutely certain this means "I don't want to be dead because there's no future in it."
When the patriot Bogislaw Stanislovsky heard these two lines he laughed so hard he fell off the wall in Dubrovnik.
I guess you had to be there.
