We arrived in Mostar in Bosnia and first we went swimming in the river. Above the river is a famous bridge. We saw people jumping off a platform into the river. The water was freezing and a strong current. After that we went to dinner. At dinner we played hearts and I won the game. After dinner we walked over the bridge and today we saw people jumping off the same bridge.
Not much I can say about people jumping off a bridge. Maybe they had spent some time with Sally? Or with your brother, Moe, Larry and Curly, either of which can cause serious trauma to the brain. In the old days they called this act a "Brody," who was driven to distraction by his family and dog.
ReplyDeleteI'll try and do better next time.
Were they bunge jumping or just crazy..
ReplyDeleteNo monkey see monkey dodo.
We are pleased that none of you tried jumping of the bridge into the freezing river!!
ReplyDeleteSummer is with us -- at last the humidity has disappeared after some bad thunder storms.
Keep on enjoying the trip. Love Granny and Papa.
I don't know, but that seems a bit scary -or crazy -to jump off a bridge into a cold, swiftly moving river. I guess that's a form of recreation for the people of Bosnia. WAIT!!! I didn't hear anything about ice cream in this blog!!!! REALLY!?? No ice cream!!!?? Oh, now I remember, Ben assured us that you did indeed have your ice cream for the day. :) Whew!! I was worried there for a moment. I send you lots and lots of love.
