Tired
Today we walked the walls of the old city in Dubrovnik. It was really cool because we could see where the bombs fell and there was this one house that had everything except for it's roof. Then we went to the main promenade and we listened to musicians. And then we went to get bread and cheese and we went to the ocean and ate there and went swimming. And the shower was freezing. I took a siesta in the afternoon, which is a nap. After we went to the jewish museum and war museum. Me and my dad did people watching while eating popcorn and then we had pizza for dinner. Then we went swimming in the ocean outside the old city and there was this platform that we jumped off of, but the water was very salty. Ten ice-cream and more music watching and we saw someone playing bottles. And now we are going to bed...

Hello Beautiful Sarah. I posted an answer to your latest blog about an hour ago and went back to show Grandpa, but somehow it had disappeared. So I thought I would try again and hope that this one sticks. I can't remember exactly what I had written but I know it had something to do with how amazed I am at all you do in just one day. You are seeing so much and learning so much history. Wow!!!! Grandpa and I were in Dubrovnik. I remember how interesting everything was. We saw an old small synagog down one of the small streets. I didn't realize they have a jewish museum there. I also remember going to the plaza and seeing thousands of pigeons. And you took a "siesta". You are learning to speak Spanish in Croatia. You are awesome!!!! Perhaps Grandpa knows how to say nap in Croatian. I'll ask him. Be sure to let us know which country (city) has the best pizza and the best ice cream. You're gonna be an expert when you come back. We miss you and send you lots and lots of love.
ReplyDeleteSarah, I posted a comment to you last night and was surprised to see that it was not there today. It sounds like you are all having a great time and getting around all the interesting sights.
ReplyDeletelove from granny and papa.
