Shari, my cousin, and my brother and Marla, and mommy and me went to Tiberias to go a water park. There was too much chlorine in the pool. So we went into the Kinneret and I found a rock with fossils. We had a lot of fun.
Me and my brother also went on lots of different slides. The white slide was the hardest and it was straight down and I flew off the slide and bumped my butt and it hurt. But it was fun.
Yesterday, at camp we went hiking and we saw a crab in the water - it was a baby crab. And the walk was hard but really fun. When I was trying to cross the river, I nearly fell off into the river. I sat with a girl from another group who was a blabbermouth. She talked the whole way in hebrew. I didn't understand one word. I just nodded my head.
Sarah . . . you are so cool and adventurous! I never had adventures like you are having when I was a kid. I can't ever remember any girl talking to me for two hours in Hebrew. I would probably have hit her upside the head. When I was your age and lived in Bat Yam Israel, my buddies would take me to the American movies . .
ReplyDeleteTarzan, Hapalong Cassidy (cowboy) and the like just so I could translate the English for them.
Actually, I really couldn't understand English or Hebrew very well. I got pretty good at faking it. Next time, just nod your head a lot and look like you are enjoying her stories. Or, you can just fall asleep.
You make me laugh! We miss you sooooooooooooo much!! Much love and have fun.
ReplyDeleteHiking and sliding sounds great. Glad you had so much fun. Too bad you have a bruised butt!
ReplyDeleteHave a great shabbat/weekend. Love...

ReplyDeleteThat is so funny! Did she realize that you don't speak full Hebrew? Oh, my gosh... I almost forgot! Tomorrow is my show. I have seven parts and I am in all the dances. Wish me luck! Wish you were here!
Sarah . . . We need to hear from you! A day without your posting is a day without sunshine, a horse without a cowboy, a Dunkin Donut without sprinkles. You need to take this seriously. I won't be able to nap until I hear from you!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a good actress, I'll bet the "blabbermouth" thought you understood every word. :) The water slides in Tiberias seem like so much fun. I know you're a dare devil so keep having FUN but don't hurt yourself.
ReplyDeleteDon't hurt that adorable butt!!!!!!! We send you so many hugs and kisses.
Missing you lots and lots. Shabbat Shalom - I wonder if Daddy made challah without you to help! Much love
ReplyDeleteSarah . . . I know you didn't blog today, but I'm going to answer you anyway. I need to feel the connection. Don't feel too bad about missing Jemma's Ballet Birthday Party. I plan to attend and participate . . if I can get into my TuTu. We are having a nice visit with Barry and Gail. They should be back in Israel in time to see you guys. Love you!!
ReplyDeleteSar Bear! I hope your butt is okay! Sounds like you're having a ton of fun! I cannot wait to read more about your adventures and see all the great pictures! Can you do me a favor? Will you draw me some pictures of what you're seeing? It sounds like you get some great sunsets and are seeing awesome hikes and such. I want to see some pictures, but that you drew! :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read your next adventure! Love and miss you!
Auntie E
Ben told us all about your few days in the Golan Heights. It's hard to believe that you can fit all these activities into your days. It sounds as if you are having a wonderful time. Aunt Ellie had a wonderful idea, asking you to draw pictures. I'd love to have some of those too, IF you have time.
ReplyDeleteLove you so much. Say hello to everyone there for us.
