My brother had a playdate and it was very quiet in the house. We also watched a chick flick, Romona and Beezus. And I liked it a lot. Then me, Elaine (my step-grandma) and my mom went to lunch. Then we went swimming with Ben. Tonight was a Taki night. And we had pizza for dinner. Tomorrow is camp. And at Taki, Pa Jay is winning or I am. Good night.

ReplyDeleteWhen your mother was a little older than you, she was sent off to over-nite camp in a foreign land. After renting her room out to another little girl, who was much sweeter, I sent her funny (dumb) letters. They were intended to amuse her so that she wouldn't think about wanting to come home. Rachel was not the world's greatest camper. She had a big problem with authority . . . not so much her counselors, but rather the directors of the camp. We never knew what to expect when we came up for parent's weekend. We usually got an earful from the heads of the camp. Anyway, we decided to take her back at the end of the summer and we all lived happily ever after.

ReplyDeleteI am reading this blog and I DO miss you very much!!!!! I just read Grandpa's comment and it is really really silly!!! Nothing wrong with that, RIGHT? I love that you and Mom watched a "chick flick". I remember reading those books with you. I never saw the movie. You'll have to tell me about it. Keep up the good work with Taki. Did we play that when we were all in Israel together? It's very hot here, but I don't seem to mind it. I'm going to my tap class tonight and then Barry and Gail are coming over for a visit. Give my love to everyone there.
ReplyDeleteWe have just come home from Sammy,Taryn and Jack. We went for supper because it is Taryn's birthday and your Dad was there as well. Taryn wanted to know if you were coming, but your Dad explained that you are too far away. She misses you and sends love. It was her party on Sunday at a gym - you would of loved it. XXXXXXXXXX
