Trip from the trip

We drove to our campsite. It was so hot all of us woke up at midnight. It Was too hot to sleep so we had to come to a hotel. Which had air conditioning and a pool, the two things you need. The next day we went to Arches, a national park. We did the delicate arch hike. It was really cool. It was very hot walking but it was worth it. I like walking back better than there. It goes faster. Mom says. I complain less on the way home. Then we took a nap. And me and mom took a nap and Ben read his book in the bathtub so we could read. Daddy went back to get the campsite to take down the tent. Then when we woke up we went on another hike. We went on the negro bill trail. It was partially in water and we skipped rocks. On a scale from one to ten it was an 8. Then we went to dinner at Moab diner. It was good. Then we got to swim. Mom said it was prewash before our showers. Even mom and dad swam. And then we went in the hot tub. Then I went to sleep. More tomorrow. SLEEP!!!!!!!!

  2. Hello "Everyone's Darling",
It is so great to hear from you again. I don't know how you find any time to write between all you hiking and napping and hiking and swimming and hiking and biking and hiking and eating and hiking and sleeping. WOW!!!!!!! You amaze me!!!! If they had an Olympic Gold medal for hiking, I think your family would be in contention for the gold. So glad to hear you all sensibly moved inside to find some air conditioning. It sounded as if you were roasting inside your tent. Do you think EVEN I would have been hot????? Hope you are taking time for ice cream breaks. Jemma slept over last night. It was her first sleep over BY HERSELF. We really had a wonderful time. We went to the butterfly museum and the zoo. She has requested a special sleep over with just the two of you. That sounds FANTASTIC to me and Grandpa. Let's make sure that happens when you return. We miss you sooooooo much, but, of course know you are having the best time ever. LOVE LOVE LOVE to all of you.

  3. Sarah My Love . . . Your references to napping bring to mind Sister Mary Elizabeth who was known to have been one of the great nappers of all time. It is rumored that her napping was the reason for her longevity. She outlived at least seven of her husbands. In fact, Sister Mary buried her three last husbands, two of whom were napping at the time.
Do you remember the time you guys pushed me down the mountain? It was right after my classic dismount from the horse. You almost fell out of the saddle from laughing. Always glad to bring a smile to your face.
